Editorial policy
Bright Arts Review aims to make arts coverage clear, considered and accountable. We distinguish explanation from interpretation and correct material errors when they are brought to our attention.
Accuracy and interpretation
We check names, titles, dates and other factual details before publication, and take care not to present an interpretation as settled fact. When a point is uncertain or depends on context, we say so. Readers can contact us with a correction and the relevant passage; we review credible concerns and amend errors with a clear note where appropriate.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. Sponsored material and partner placements are labelled clearly so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee favourable treatment or control over our editorial conclusions.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be AI-generated. Where an illustration is AI-generated, we label it accordingly; it is not presented as documentary evidence or as an artwork by a named artist.
Art makes choices visible
A closer look at form and material can change what a work gives us. We explain those choices in clear language, without prescribing a single response.
